Pemmican – The Ultimate Survival Food
The recipe I used consisted of:
1 Cup dried raisins, blueberries, cherries, or elderberries (Dates might be good too!)
1 1/2 Cup dried until brittle venison, lean beef, caribou or moose
1 Cup Rendered Suet (strained and heated) – You can use Bear Fat, Caribou or Beef Fat –
It tastes really good frozen too!
