Making a Primitive ELK BONE KNIFE

I’ve watched a few of this guys videos and must say I have been impressed.I realize that he is using power tools to create these knives but the concepts are easy to follow and adapt.

Making a bone bladed knife from an elk leg bone. The handle is from a deer leg, hafted with a mixture of pine pitch, charcoal and processed plant fiber. The hafting is elk sinew and the handle is wrapped with yucca rope coated with hide glue. For those of you wondering how sharp a bone knife is, check out the BONE vs. FLINT knife video. NOTE: At this point I don’t have any knives for sale but will update this note if any become available.
