This video will help get you started. You will need 2 3′ oak dowels, a bayonet or good knife, a steel pipe, some lead, glue, rubber, apoxy and a few other odds and ends. This video addresses how to select a good piece of oak to use.

In this video I trim the bolts holding the haft to the handle. Trim the end of the scabard, trim the opening and get the Spring Latch to catch and start working.

Steel capped and lead packed! This video shows how I drill out the club/scabbard and build a steel cap for it. I heated the cap, pounded it on and cooled it with water. Almost done Y’all, just 5 more to go!

This video shows how I resharpened the blade first useing my disc grinder, then a belt sander, stones, diamond stones and finaly a silicone stone. It got fairly sharp.
