Most people think of WD-40 as just a lubricant that helps take the squeak out of door hinges. However, it can be used for pretty much anything.
1. Removes splattered grease on the stove and polishes the entire oven.
2. Protects silver from tarnishing by wiping with a rag containing product.
3. Ink stains on clothing can be difficult to remove, but by using a spray of WD40, you can loosen the stain and possibly even remove it.
4. To keep squirrels from taking over a bird feeder, spray a generous amount of WD-40 on top of the feeder.
5. Removes road tar and grime from road vehicles.
6. Cleans and lubricates guitar (instrument) strings and ski equipment.
7. Gives floors a just waxed sheen without making slippery.
8. Keeps flies off cows and horses. Do not put around eyes!!!!
9. Restores and cleans chalkboards.
10. Removes lipstick stains from clothing even if already washed and dryed, apply and rewash.
11. When pulling and tugging can’t get that ring off your finger, reach for the WD-40.
12. Loosens stubborn zippers.
13. Untangles chains and jewelry.
14. Removes water stains from stainless steel sinks and equipment.
15. Cleans and polishes the outside barbeque grill. (Be sure to burn it off before cooking).

18. Removes scratches from ceramic and marble floors.
19. Keeps scissors working smoothly.
20. Cleans and polishes a children’s slide.
21. Spray tracks in windows for easy opening and cleaning.
22. Spray an umbrella stem for ease of opening and closing.
23. Restores and cleans roof racks on vehicles.
24. Prevents saw blades and tools from rusting when applied.
25. Keeps bathroom mirror from fogging.
26. Keeps pigeons off the balcony (supposedly don’t like the smell)
27. Removed adhesives like duct tape remnant, stickiness from other substances.
28. Use it for fire ant bites to relieve sting and itch.
29. Any bug guts off windows, car paint, chrome will easily be removed.
30. Clean and polish the soles and heels of shoes unless made from plastic.
31. Spray on shovel, it keeps clay from sticking.
32. Clean your toilet, the solvents in the WD-40 will help dissolve the gunk and lime.

34. Prevent snow buildup on windows.
35. Shower heads have a tendency to break down over time, but applying WD-40 can extend their life span by years.
36. Removes labels from medicine bottles for reuse.
37. Use a drop on a rag and some old fashioned “elbow grease” and wipe off crayon from your wallpaper
38. Removes tea stains from counter tops.
39. Unstick gum from hair {and some carpets–though, check an inconspicuous area first}.
40. Keep bugs at bay. Spray WD-40 on window sills, etc. to keep spiders and other bugs out.
